the little things I love about baseball:

• dirtied up uniforms
• backwards K’s
• walk up music
• sunshine in spring training
• high socks
• the sound of the sweet spot
• grass stains
• the run from the bullpen to the mound
• plays off the fence
• bunts for singles
• random strangers uniting together after a win
• lights at a night game illuminating the field
• the line outside before the gates open
• hot summer nights at the ballpark
• ultra cool sunglasses worn by outfielders (as well as infielders)
• the motto “they’ll get ‘em tomorrow”
• dugout pranks
• extra innings
• plays at the plate
• everything
